Jack Hutchings has begun cutting a film with director Kim Farrant, starring Noomi Rapace and Yvonne Strahovski. The film titled 'Angel of Mine' is a psychological thriller about a woman grieving the death of her daughter who loses grip on reality when she begins to think her girl may still be alive. The film was written by Luke Davies ('Lion', 'Candy') is based on a french film from the 1990's.
Dan Lee has collaborated with director Charles Williams cutting his short film 'All These Creatures' which has just been officially selected for the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. The film is one of eight films to make the cut from close to 4,000 entries worldwide.
Williams’ film stars 13-year-old Ethiopian/Australian Yared Scott as Tempest, a boy who tries to understand the dark presence growing inside his father and the events that led to an inexplicable tragedy while his backyard is infested with insects.
This news also marks the sixth time a short film cut by The Butchery's editors has made official selection at the Cannes Film Festival during the past fifteen years.
