a large butchery night at the 2010 madc awards saw five gongs for best editing. peter won two silver awards; for 'father and son', and worksafe. rohan won two bronze awards; for ski yoghurt and westpac and jack picked up a bronze for pure blonde.
there was plenty of other butchery work within the best of show and gold campaign awards on the night, including the carlton 'dry dreams' campaign and the 'support scent' guide dogs australia campaign.

three of the butchery's editors collaborated with directors garth davis, glendyn ivin, and jono hill on a series of short films initiated by publicis mojo for coca-cola's burn energy drink. peter cut 'playground', rohan edited 'peepshow vs. quebec' and jack cut 'ride'.

nice news with both peter and jack receiving clio award nominations for best editing at this years awards in the states. starship 'father and son' was cut by peter for steve ayson and pure blonde 'dove love' was cut by jack for steve also. the sweetshop were lovely enough to enter the work on our behalf.

rohan's been cutting multiple jobs for director mark molloy including a series of westpac commercials. he's also been kept busy by melanie bridge of the sweetshop, and chris riggert of radical media.
peter's been cutting a series of spots for fresh-up, a kiwi beverage company, with director steve ayson. other work includes a short film 'the father' for director david easteal.
jack's been cutting a short film for steve ayson and partner jane shearer, titled 'bird'. he's also cut a job with director mark molloy.
all the butchery editors have been working on a series of films for burn energy drink. jack's been cutting with garth davis, whilst peter and rohan have been working with glendyn ivin and jono hill respectively, all through exit films and publicis mojo sydney.

'bastardy' a documentary film by director amiel courtin-wilson has been nominated for best feature length documentary at the upcoming afi awards. three editors collaborated with the director on the film, including the butchery's own jack hutchings. the film has also been nominated for best editing, and best direction.

the annual madc awards were held in melbourne on the 28th august. both jack and peter each had two nominations for best editing, and jack was lucky enough to pick up a silver for cutting mark molloy's ford 'the road' spot .
busy times at the butchery with peter cutting more anti-gambling work for glendyn ivin, and a job for a children's hospital in auckland for director steve ayson which brought the client to tears on presentation .

'last ride' is in cinemas. a documentary film 'bastardy' (that jack was one of three editors i nvolved in) is also playing at palace cinemas, around australia.
peter has been working with director julius avery from renegade films on some spots for 'me-bank' . other work includes working with glendyn ivin a gain this time on some anti-gambling commercials.
jack has been cutting with mark molloy on a few spots for holeproof.

more cannes lions advertising awards success with 'vb raiseaglass' winning a silver lion in the film category. editor was jack at the butchery (for director amy gebhardt's first ever commercial) and agency droga5 sydney.
